Gavin McLean

Gavin McLean, New Zealand Historian, worked for Historic Places Trust, Government Print, and Ministry for Culture and Heritage. As well as curating exhibitions, teaching at Victoria University of Wellington, he was a prolific writer, editor and compiler of New Zealand History publications, and a key member of the Professional Association of Historians New Zealand Aotearoa. McLean retired in 2017 and passed away in April 2019
